Shield For Child Witnesses

More rape victims and children will soon be able to give evidence in Adelaide's District Court and Supreme Court via closed-circuit TV, the State Government says.
Attorney General-Michael Atkinson said yesterday two more courtroooms in the Samuel Way building would be fitted with the lateset video conferencing technology and two remote witness rooms would be set up in a building in a secure location to prevent witnesses coming face-to-face with defendants.
He said the move was in response to findings in the Llayton Report.
