Dad's Spy Camera Catches 'Peeping Tom'

THE ingenuity of a Brisbane father who installed spy cameras in his daughter's bedroom to catch a peeping tom has led to a man's arrest, police said today.
A 47-year-old Marsden man was today charged with one count of stalking an 18-year-old woman after allegedly peering into her Marsden bedroom, in Brisbane's south, several times since August.
Police said infra-red images taken during the crimes were used to identify the man who lived in the neighbourhood.
The woman's father had installed two video cameras for $250 after his daughter repeatedly noticed a man lurking outside her window.
The man was released on bail today and will appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 1.
