Paedophile Walks Free Again

A CONVICTED pedophile who wound up back behind bars for failing to comply with reporting conditions today walked free from a Sydney jail.
Dennis Ferguson, 56, was released from John Moroney Correctional Facility in Windsor at 10.45am (AEDT) and was escorted in a car by NSW Department of Corrective Services officers to a nearby train station.
Ferguson was released from a Queensland prison in January last year after serving a 14-year term for sexually attacking three young children.
He then moved to Sydney and in November last year was sentenced to 15 months jail for failing to tell police about a new job which may have given him access to children.
Police rescued Ferguson from a media scrum after his release.
Ferguson refused to answer questions from reporters who followed him to Windsor station.
Police waiting at the station tried to keep the peace as Ferguson could find no place to hide on the platform.
He ran from the media before bumping into, kicking and punching out at reporters and photographers.
Police eventually took Ferguson from the platform into the stationmaster's office for about five minutes before putting him into a police car and driving him away.
