Paedophile Ferguson Arrives In Brisbane

Police have confirmed convicted paedophile Dennis Ferguson has arrived in Brisbane, one day after his release from a Sydney Jail.
The 56-year-old has served a 15-month sentence for failing to tell police he had a job which brought him into contact with children.
He had previously spent 15 years in a Queensland jail for the abduction and rape of three children under 10 in a Brisbane hotel room.
Mr Ferguson reported to the Brisbane police headquarters this morning.
Premier Peter Beattie says he can not stop Mr Ferguson coming back to Queensland, though he would have liked to.
Mr Beattie says Mr Ferguson is on notice.
"He knows the rules... he was in a Queensland prison," he said.
"We can't stop Queenslanders coming back, but what we can do is make sure if they misbehave they go back to jail."
