Indecency, Rape Charges For Man


A MAN faces charges of indecent dealing and rape involving children in Yeppoon in central Queensland.
The 33-year-old man has been charged with one count of rape and 14 counts of indecent dealing with five children, aged between eight and 14 years old.
The charges relate to incidents which took place at the coastal town in 2001 and 2002, and another incident on February 4 this year.
The man, who has been released under strict bail conditions, is expected to face Rockhampton Magistrates Court on February 28.
