We, the people of New South Wales, demand greater protection of our children. In light of an alarming trend of stranger-danger incidents across the State, we are calling for a new law specifically targeting offenders who attempt to lure a child into their car.

Under changes to the Serious Sex Offenders Act (Detention and Supervision) 2009, the Victorian media is restricted from reporting on key decisions that the Herald Sun believes the wider community has a right to know. We are calling for a change to that Act to allow open reporting of key hearings when an offender is due to leave prison, or is placed on a supervision order and allowed back into the community.
