Woman Accused Of Abduction Bid

A MOTHER saved her two young children from an alleged abduction attempt on the Gold Coast, police said today.
It is alleged a 30-year-old woman opened a gate and walked into the front yard of a home at Pamela Court, Labrador, where a three-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy were playing yesterday.
The children wandered out of the yard holding the woman's hands at about 4.15pm (AEST), a police spokeswoman said.
The children's mother then went outside and called them back into the house, the spokeswoman said.
A woman, who was later located by police, will appear in Southport Magistrates Court today charged with two counts of attempted abduction.
